Senior FP&A Analyst
Runcorn
£65K - £70K + car + bonus

We are seeking a qualified Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist with a strong background in Manufacturing and Costing to join this Runcorn-based business.

In this pivotal role, you will drive value by producing accurate monthly reports, forecasts, and long-term financial planning. With a focus on business partnering, you'll support your business area by developing financial models that enable sound decision-making and effective cost control.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Collaborate with local management to develop and support forecasts, budgets, and Medium-Term for manufacturing-focused business streams and cost centres.
  • Ensure forecasts are precisely phased to reflect business conditions, accurately uploaded in SAP and IBM Cognos TM1.
  • Establish and monitor robust controls over plant costs, including production cost centres and material usage.
  • Take ownership of standard cost calculations, ensuring that costs are accurately maintained within local systems.
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly reports for the UK, Regional, and Group levels, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Conduct sales & EBIT reviews and reconciliations ahead of monthly reporting deadlines.
  • Input monthly results & providing detailed commentary for the Market Unit board pack.
  • Resolve stakeholder queries efficiently following monthly management reporting
  • Business Partnering
  • Support business stream management in effectively controlling costs within budgets, attending key meetings as a financial partner.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and develop financial models that deliver consistent and accurate insights into business performance.
  • Contribute to effective decision-making by providing a high level of financial and commercial acumen, along with department-specific KPIs.

Essential Experience:

  • Professionally qualified accountant, either CIMA or ACCA
  • 5 years Manufacturing experience desirable
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent commercial and business partnering skills
  • Strong Communication Skills


Reporting Structure:
This role reports directly to the CFO & Site Director.
