About the Company:
Our client is a respected subcontractor renowned for delivering excellence across a range of specialist civil engineering disciplines. With an established reputation in bulk earthworks, remediation, complex demolition and deconstruction, sustainable disposal, and aggregate supply, they are expanding their operations into minor construction works. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and driven General Foreman to join their team.
Role Overview:
As a General Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in delivering projects to the highest standards, focusing on earthworks, civils, and drainage. You will oversee daily site operations, ensuring that works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate site operations across earthworks, civils, and drainage projects.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Manage and direct site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards.

Monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and maintain accurate site records.

Liaise with the Site Manager and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a General Foreman within civil engineering, earthworks, and drainage.

Strong understanding of groundworks, bulk earthworks, and infrastructure projects.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
-
Valid CSCS card; SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.

Full UK driving licence.
