CLASS 1 DRIVER
WORKING FIVE DAYS OUT SEVEN (SOME WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED)
START TIMES BETWEEN: 12:00 - 18:00
PAY RATE: £16.00 - £22.00 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Warrington.

Rates of Pay Per Hour:
- £16.00 - Monday - Friday: 06:00 - 22:00
- £19.00 - Monday - Friday: 22:00 - 06:00
- £22.00 - Saturday & Sunday
- £21.28 overtime after 42 Hours
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- A mixture of Trunking and Store Deliveries (2-4 store deliveries per shift)
- Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
- Collections of recycling from depots may be required
- Carry out vehicle inspections and report any faults to management
- Ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner
- Communicate any issues / delays effectively
- Abide by all working time rules and regulations
- Complete any necessary paperwork
Essential Skills
As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
- Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
Training
- Driving assessment must be completed
- After successful assessment, there will be a two-day paid induction
