Your new companyAn excellent opportunity has arisen due to an internal move for a skilled, enthusiastic and efficient PA to join a public sector energy organisation based in Warrington. Going from strength to strength, my client has a unique business offering that enables them to be the credible specialist in their field! Supporting a member of the ELT, you will be working closely with a top decision maker and influencer. Your new roleYou will be providing executive-level support to a team of 6 executives. Responsible for a complex, ever-changing diary with both internal and external commitments, managing the accurate coordination of meetings at board, client and committee level. You will take ownership of correspondence, preparation of board reports, as well as financial administration for expenditure. Moreover, you will be the friendly and welcoming initial point of contact internally for your executive and members of their senior leadership team! Heavily involved in external affairs, your role will see you supporting a wide range of external events and therefore putting your event management experience to good use! Working in a heavily regulated environment, you will be effectively problem-solving daily, maintaining electronic databases, as well as arranging for travel requirements. What you'll need to succeedThis busy and exciting role will suit an enthusiastic and engaging character that thrives in busy environments! You will be comfortable managing your own workload whilst addressing conflicting priorities that have internal and external influences. You will be meticulously organised and pride yourself on your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Initiative is key for this post; you will be anticipating needs in advance and ensuring all correspondence is readily available for the days ahead. You will be used to working to deadlines as well as being used to working with senior leadership! You will be confident in managing upwards where necessary, and be an expert in your field. Your IT skills will be of a good standard, and you will have an excellent eye for detail to enable you to proofread effectively! In order to service committees and boards, you will have a flexible attitude towards working patterns and understand that at some points in the month, your hours may be slightly different. Due to the nature of this post, you must be able to obtain SC level clearance. What you'll get in returnYou will be working with an organisation that is going to continually change and develop in the years to come! Your working hours will be 39 hours per week, and you will be able to work remotely for up to 3 days, with 2 days based in Warrington. You will have 25.5 days of annual leave, plus the 8 bank holidays PLUS an extra 4 days over the Christmas shutdown! You will have access to enhanced pension and sick pay schemes, as well as an annual discretionary bonus scheme which is awarded based on performance. You will have a salary of £37,744.
