Transporter / FLT Driver

Shift Basis (Including Days and Nights + On Call - 12 Hour shifts)

At our Golborne site (5 mins from the J22 or J23 M6) based on the East Lancs Road, we employ over 270 colleagues' who produce a number of packaging solutions on a 24/7 basis for major international customers.

We now need to strengthen our Transporter Team

Your profile

The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection/movement and recording of finished packed products to the automated wrapper. Bring all required packing materials used within the Packing Department on shift to the relevant production line.

Working in a busy packing environment moving finished packed products to an automated wrapper.
Bring all required packing materials to the packing lines.
Safe and correct use of equipment including a pedestrian ride on truck / FLT/ Pallet wrapper in a heavy pedestrian area.
Identifying poor quality in either materials or finished goods.
Flexibility to undertake new tasks as required.
Work with in housekeeping and 5S guidelines to improve both efficiency and safety

Experience / Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role
Personable and excellent communication skills
Able to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines within a busy manufacturing environment
Previous experience of operating the required machinery
Must have Valid FLT Counterbalance license + Experience
