HGV Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Hours:PM & Nights Shifts will run across Monday to Sunday

PM - Between 13:00pm- 16:00pm

Nights - Between 21:00pm - 02:00am

Pay Rates:

• PM:Monday Thursday £15.50 / Friday £16.00 / Saturday £16.50 / Sunday £17.00 (all PAYE)
• PM:Monday Thursday £17.37 / Friday £17.93 / Saturday £18.49 / Sunday £19.05 (Holiday Included)
• Nights: Monday Thursday £16.20 / Friday £17.00 / Saturday £17.50 / Sunday £17.80 (all PAYE)
• Nights:Monday Thursday £18.16 / Friday £19.05 / Saturday £19.61 / Sunday £19.95 (Holiday Included)

Location:Warrington , WA5

Job Type: Long term ongoing.

The role:

Collect parcels from well-known customers, including full trailer collections, drop and swap operations.

Handle occasional push roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required (rare occurrence).

Ensure all collections are completed accurately and on time.

Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions with customers.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).

. Minimum of 6 months experience driving the relevant vehicle.

Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test.

Full understanding of WTD legislation.
