Senior RTR Accountant

North Warrington - 12-month FTC - up to £55,000 DOE

5 years+ post-qual experience required

I am delighted to be exclusively partnered with this construction/engineering company in their search for a Senior RTR Accountant. North Warrington based, this will predominantly be an office-based role - so ability to commute to the office is key. Once you are trained there will be some hybrid flexibility.

A fantastic organisation with a well-respected name in the area. You will be supporting an inspiring line manager and joining a long-standing team. This role is initially a 12 month FTC and, whilst no guarantees can be made, there could be the scope for it being longer term.

Key duties of this role will include:

  • Conducting accounting activities relating to the maintenance of complete and accurate general ledger and management accounts
  • Processing information within the RTR area in line with Group Timetable and SSC SLAs
  • Delivering timely and accurate information to Group Finance, Head of Tax and Finance Business partners for external and internal reporting
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support teams/ people management
  • All queries, including audit queries
  • Performing other assigned General Ledger tasks of a routine nature under the direction of the RTR Manager

What you'll bring:

  • Qualified accountant with a progressive record of success (ACCA/CIMA etc.)
  • Possess strong analytical/planning skills, together with a strong accounting/ control background
  • Demonstrable experience of working with a wide array of other functions at different levels - commercial, operations, marketing, IT etc
  • Strong communication and influencing skills - able to network effectively with finance and operational management across the business in a variety of cultures
  • Proven experience of producing high quality written communications and presentations for senior management
