YARD OPERATIVE

c£33,500.00 per annum

£12.36 per hour + O/T rate of £18.54 per hour

(£25,708.80 per annum + c£8,000.00 O/T per annum)

WEEKLY PAY

Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm - 40 hours per week + 4-8 hours optional overtime per week

(30 mins unpaid lunch break)

You will be required to hold a full UK driving licence

We are looking for a Motivated, Reliable and Hard-Working Yard Operative to perform a wide variety of duties within a HGV Dealership environment in Burtonwood, Warrington. Your primary responsibility will be keeping both the Yard and Workshop clean and tidy whilst observing all H&S regulations.

Our client is also offering free FLT training!

Yard Operative Duties:

  • Ensuring that the Technician’s working areas are kept clean and tidy at all times both outside in the yard and in the Workshop, this will involve sweeping the floors and using a specially machine to clean the pits (full training will be given)
  • Waste disposal and management of segmentation - Managing the recycling by ensuring waste is put in to the correct bins (plastic, card, aerosols, filters etc)
  • Steam cleaning under the vehicles
  • Loading vehicles with weights for their MOT Inspections using an FLT (once trained)
  • Painting and basic woodwork repairs
  • Delivering and collecting vehicle parts from other depots in the local area (with use of company van)
