Reed Talent Solutions are working with United Utilities on the search for a People ServicesAdministrator to join their HR Operations department at their Lingley Mere Business Park.

What is the purpose of the People Services Administrator role?

To support the day to day running of the HR function by providing advice and guidance to all areas of the business on a daily basis.

To provide professional and timely advice and guidance to all employees, managers HR Business Partners eg applying knowledge of all HR policies and procedures

• Answering customer queries professionally, accurately in accordance with agreed service levels via telephone and work flow.• Entering and maintaining the data in SAP including checking org structure, applying knowledge of terms and conditions, to ensure the accuracy of data held.• Processing requests from customers accurately, timely and responding to requests in a professional manner.• Creating and maintaining tracking sheets and databases where necessary. Reviewing the use of these databases to ensure they are giving the right information, efficiently and effectively.• Working with team members across the team and through the other teams to ensure a seamless service is given to our customers.• Quality control of all SAP paperwork, ensuring MI Data is accurate before processing.• Manage your time to ensure the team works effectively together.• Continuous look for improvement to processes to ensure increased accuracy and reduce time to complete by writing and reviewing processes, guidance notes and training guides.• Produce calculations in relation to standby buyouts, annualised hours, complex working patterns and salary/change of hours, term time working etc.

What you'll need to be successful in the role?

  • Good communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written
  • Must be computer literate with expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be customer focused and service driven
  • Understanding of key legislation - Data protection Act / Health & Safety legislation
  • Previous HR admin expereince
  • Must have basic level of education (5 GCSE’S / O’Levels, including Maths and English) or equivalent
