Our client is a large organisation operating in the service sector, known for its commitment and presence across the country. Their branch has a dedicated Human Resources team in Warrington that plays an integral part in their success.

Description

  • Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of people-related matters.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding new starters.
  • Maintain and update HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Support learning and development initiatives, including training coordination and records management.
  • Contribute to HR projects, such as engagement initiatives, policy reviews, and process improvements.
  • Work closely with line managers to ensure consistency in HR practices across the site.
  • Provide guidance on absence management and support return-to-work processes.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or working towards) is desirable.
  • Hands-on approach with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
