Description
- Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of people-related matters.
- Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues.
- Assist with recruitment processes, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding new starters.
- Maintain and update HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Support learning and development initiatives, including training coordination and records management.
- Contribute to HR projects, such as engagement initiatives, policy reviews, and process improvements.
- Work closely with line managers to ensure consistency in HR practices across the site.
- Provide guidance on absence management and support return-to-work processes.
Profile
A successful HR Advisor should have:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or working towards) is desirable.
- Hands-on approach with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
