Description
This is a fantastic generalist HR role that focuses on providing day-to-day HR operational and transactional support across the business. Building strong relationships across all departments, you will act as a first point of contact for general HR and payroll queries and assist the wider HR team with maintaining accurate databases and reports. You will also be responsible for:
- Manage all HR-related duties from recruitment to retirement.
- Develop HR policies and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs and staff training.
- Handle employee grievances and cultivate a positive working environment.
- Oversee performance appraisal system and manage payroll.
- Lead employee onboarding and assist with the development of HR strategies.
- Provide advice to management on HR issues and contribute to decision-making.
- Participate in HR projects and maintain HR information system records.
Profile
The successful HR Advisor will ideally be:
- Immediately available/ available at short notice
- Have an academic background in HR Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar HR role, preferably in the property industry.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- A high degree of professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for nurturing a positive workplace culture.
- Competence in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
