You will be managing technical queries, conducting on-site repairs, training service engineers, and maintaining product safety standards.As a Technical Support Engineer your duties will be: -" Assist Technical Manager to ensure tasks are completed efficiently." Provide technical support and product information to the Sales team, external engineers, and customers." Attend customer sites to carry out on-site repairs and troubleshooting." Conduct product testing to ensure the safety and compliance on various brands within the company's portfolio." Review returned stock, repair, or rework as needed for grading classification or scrapping." Ensure correct documentation is submitted for all parts used during repairs." Report failure and technical issues, liaising with the Technical Manager and factory teams to prevent future problems." Assist the Operations Director with general building maintenance as required.The successful Technical Support Engineer will have the following skills: -" Must have COMCAT 1, 2, 3, 5 qualifications." HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical discipline would be desirable." Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with competence and empathy." Knowledge of CAD systems and HTML would be advantageous." Capable of inputting data while speaking to customers on the phone." Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to assess priorities pragmatically." Good attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks." Flexible approach to work, adaptable to changing priorities and team needs.
