Russell Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Manager with experience of working to ISO 17025 to join our client's testing organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a non-management position, who has experience with internal auditing and who has an urgent and proactive approach to work.
Responsibilities: -
Implement and maintain quality management systems to ISO 17025.
Ensure quality policies, processes and procedures are effectively implemented.
Interact with internal stakeholders and customers.
Plan and conduct internal audit program.
Manage UKAS visits.
Investigate audit findings and responses are submitted within the deadlines.
Provide advice to the teams to ensure that any shortfalls are corrected.
Establish and implement QA/QC programs.
Take part in quality investigations- root cause analysis & CAPA.
Enable early detection of issues to reduce the cost of poor quality and improve compliance- investigate any complaints.
Monitor lab activities to ensure adherence to standards.
Monitor process performance by gathering data and report performance against KPIS.
Manage the equipment calibration program.
Stay up to date with industry practices and guidelines.
The Person: -
Experience of implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
Working knowledge of ISO 17025.
Experience of internal audits.
Experience of being involved with UKAS audits would be an advantage.
Ability to work independently.
Proactive and able to work to strict deadlines.
Strong ability to lead and influence without any direct line authority.
Strategic approach to work.
Problem solving skills.
