ENG Bauen is supporting a prominent international EPC as they expand their engineering team to deliver cutting-edge energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. This expansion provides an exciting opportunity for an EC&I Engineer to join a growing team and contribute to projects driving sustainability and net-zero initiatives.


As an Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Engineer, you will be involved in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems for large-scale projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget, scope, and timeline.


This is an ideal position for an engineer with hands-on experience in full-lifecycle EPC projects, looking to further develop their skills and make an impact in a forward-thinking global organisation.


The Role:

  • Assist in delivering EC&I design within multi-discipline EPCM or EPC projects.
  • Work across the full project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning, in both greenfield and brownfield applications.
  • Support the completion of EC&I engineering and design within project scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Process, and Automation) to ensure effective project integration.
  • Participate in internal and external design reviews, contributing to the overall quality and consistency of the engineering designs.

The Person:

  • Experience as an EC&I Engineer in an Engineering/EPCM/EPC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EC&I engineering and design principles, with an understanding of other disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, Process, Automation).
  • Degree-qualified in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering (MEng/MSc/BEng/BSc) or equivalent.
  • Experienced in delivering EPC projects from FEED to handover in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Nuclear, or Utilities sectors
