Senior QA Analyst/Tester - £40,000-£45,000 +Benefits + Hybrid Working

As our Senior QA Analyst/Tester you’ll be joining our technical team, helping us create our cutting-edge systems. As a Senior QA Analyst/Tester will work with our software development team to provide quality assurance in an agile development environment to execute all levels of QA tests including system, integrations and regression. You will be responsible for leading us into Automation Testing. The role is hybrid, with likely one day per week in the office.
Senior QA Analyst/Tester – Responsibilities
- Creating and designing automated testing scripts using behaviour driven development (BDD) methodology.
- Define test methods and create test plans for updated software project to determine whether the software will perform accurately and reliability, according to documented requirements
- Create and verify defects as necessary
- Review user stories specifications and design documents and provide exceptions criteria
- Non-functional testing using JMeter
Senior QA Analyst/Tester – Required Skills
Ideally as our new Senior QA Analyst/Tester you will have experience of most of the following:
- Demonstrable experience as an automation tester
- Previous set up (from scratch) testing/framework experience
- Significant manual regression testing experience
- Full understanding of the testing lifecycle & methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Scrum / Agile working practices
- Experience with C#, JavaScript, SQL and .NET frameworks
- Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, Gherkin using SpecFlow, CI Tools e.g. TeamCity and Dev Ops
- ISTQB Certification/Qualification is desirable but not essential
