Test Analyst

We are working with a team looking to expand its QA department. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technical quality, eager to share innovative ideas, and committed to continuous improvement in product delivery. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative approach, working closely with various departments to deliver outstanding products on schedule.
Responsibilities:
•Accurately recording the output of testing in Jira or equivalent, logging bugs/defects with sufficient clarity and managing them throughout the defect lifecycle.
•Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
•Recommend improvements to processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
•To write and implement test plans.
•To write and review test scripts.
Essential Skills / Experience / Competencies:
•2 years of software testing experience ideally with a formal ISTQB accreditation (foundation or higher) or relative industry experience
•Experience in: regression testing, usability testing, stress testing, acceptance testing, exploratory testing, BDD.
•Experience in manual testing for APIs, web and windows desktop applications.
•Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
•Experience creating Virtual Machines to support test scenarios.
•Excellent knowledge of best practice testing techniques.
•Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
•Extremely motivated.
