I am delighted to be partnered with this ever-expanding organisation based in beautiful offices in South Warrington. Due to consistent growth - they are in need of a Billings Analyst to join their well-established finance team.
This will be a fast-paced role joining a dynamic team. You will be a professional individual with full exposure to billing and a great working knowledge of Excel.
Role And Responsibilities
- Review and posting of employee time-sheets on a weekly and monthly basis
- Raise, review and post client invoices in line with internal and external invoicing deadlines
- Distribute invoices to clients and act as the main point of contact for dealing with client queries on invoices
- Review and posting of employee expense claims, including review of receipts attached to expense claims ensuring group policy is followed and VAT applied where necessary
- Key support contact for the partner group and wider business in relation to client invoicing, time-sheets and expenses
- Preparation and issuance of fortnightly Pre Project reports
- Regular communication with partners and project managers regarding the status of their projects
- Investigation and escalation of issues to Billing Manager and Transactional Finance Manager, as appropriate
- Management of own workload to comply with strict month end and mid-month billing/expense deadlines
- Project set up within finance system
Skills & Experience
Ideally you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience of working in a billing role within a professional services business with knowledge of finance/ERP
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- A strong team player with the ability to work independently.
