We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team in Runcorn as a Kitchen Assistant on a temporary ongoing basis.

Our client is seeking a reliable and dedicated individual who is eager to support the smooth running of their kitchen operations. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the kitchen team with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a high standard of hygiene is upheld at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of meals, including cutting, chopping, and portioning ingredients
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Assist with washing dishes, pots, and pans
  • Organise and store ingredients and supplies appropriately
  • Support chefs and other kitchen staff as required
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS, dated within the last 3 years, is required for this role due to the nature of the environment
