Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) on various electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on industrial machines, identifying and rectifying any potential issues.
- Utilise your flooring experience to assist in the maintenance and repair of floor-related machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions quickly and efficiently.
- Document maintenance activities and provide reports to management on equipment status and performance.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Plant Technician or similar role within an industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of PAT testing procedures and requirements.
- Demonstrated experience working with industrial machines and equipment.
- Background in flooring maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
