Head of ConveyancingAre you an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer looking to take your career to the next level?An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, ambitious and motivated Residential Conveyancer to take the lead with a growing and highly successful regional law firm based in central Warrington.Heading up a small team, leading from the front in terms of billings and developing your team, the role could be office based or hybrid for the right person.About the role:

  • A Conveyancing solicitor, Legal Exec, or Licensed Conveyancer to lead and develop the department:
  • A depth of experience of at least 5 years of residential conveyancing is required.
  • It will be of particular interest if the candidate has experience of managing a team, or of risk management and compliance
  • The ability to lead and develop the department is a prerequisite. There are great opportunities here for a conveyancing lead with an entrepreneurial spirit and a can do attitude. We envisage that the role will hopefully lead to a directorship and a share in profits

About You:

  • You are a qualified lawyer with relevant certification
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in conveyancing
  • You are friendly and personable both within the office and to clients
  • You can demonstrate high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • You possess strong communication skills and the ability to work both alone and as part of a team
  • You have an entrepreneurial streak and the ambition to become one of the leading figures in our rapidly expanding practice
  • You have the ability to work to tight deadlines, manage time effectively and work as part of a busy team

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the conveyancing team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • To expand our panel memberships
  • Assist our directors with compliance
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Implement IT solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages professional growth and development.
