Job Summary: An established and niche Law firm in the Insurance industry is seeking a Personal Injury Solicitor to join their team. The successful candidate will handle a busy caseload and be responsible for progressing motor and non-motor personal injury claims to an effective and satisfactory conclusion. Salary: Upto £45,000 DOE  Location: Based in Warrington, Cheshire, this role offers hybrid/flexible working arrangements with 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. The Company: This company is a leading player in the Insurance industry, specialising in Clinical Negligence, Insurance Litigation, Professional Negligence, Casualty, Property and Personal Injury claims. They are committed to providing a first-rate legal service and have an excellent reputation in the market. The Role: As a Personal Injury Solicitor, the successful candidate will manage a caseload involving liability disputes, MOJ and non MOJ personal injury claims and allegations of fraud and fundamental dishonesty. They will analyse risk and develop sound judgement to justify decisions in the management of cases. Prioritising work efficiently and effectively, they will ensure client service level agreements and deadlines are met. Key Responsibilities of the Personal Injury Solicitor:

  • Action all cases in line with company/client service standards and protocols
  • Proactively use Proclaim case management systems to improve speed of settlement whilst ensuring compliance with the client’s requirements
  • Manage a caseload involving liability disputes, MOJ and non MOJ personal injury claims and allegations of fraud and fundamental dishonesty
  • Analyse risk and develop sound judgement to justify decisions in the management of cases
  • Prioritise work efficiently and effectively to ensure client service level agreements and deadlines are met

Required knowledge and experience for the Personal Injury Solicitor role:

  • Claimant experience desirable, however, suitable candidates with a Defendant background will be considered
  • Motor personal injury cases both pre-litigated and litigated with a value up to £25,000.00 including some MOJ Portal claims
  • Some experience of handling EL/PL/OL claims desirable
  • Experience of dealing with credit hire desirable but not essential
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
