The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join our client in Warrington on a permanent basis.As the quality engineer you will report directly to the EU supply chain manager and play an Integral part in ensuring an effective quality management system is adhered to from Goods-In to Despatch. Review, develop and introduce key QA processes within the business.

  • Lead the ISO9001 annual audit process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality requirements for new product development.
  • Educate the workforce on their responsibility in relation to quality assurance.
  • Develop and roll out effective training in relation to quality compliance.
  • Ensure effective root cause analysis and reporting occurs as required.
  • Produce a monthly objective report to the Ops Manager.
  • Complete weekly RCCA status report.
  • Lead Root cause and Corrective action investigations in all aspects of production, customer complaint and supply chain.
  • Manage and perform internal and external audits, audit reporting and RCCA management.
  • Developing SOP's, Work Instructions and clear standards of practice.
  • Developing compilation of quality control plans.
  • Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency improvement.
  • Monitor and control all aspects of change management on site.
  • Manage risk-based Quality Inspection activity.

Skills / Experience

  • Experience of managing the ISO9001 audit essential
  • Strong positive and ethical outlook with the ability to develop constructive relationships
  • Degree Educated in a relevant engineering discipline or relevant experience with equivalent qualifications
  • Experience of working to stringent audited ISO quality standards
  • Experience and knowledge of BS EN specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to effectively prioritise workload.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
