Legal Secretary / PA

Full Time (37.5 hours per week OR Part Time (4 days per week)

Annual Leave: 23 days + bank holidays, increasing after 3 years of service

My client are a growing company, part of a Group of companies. They are within walking distance to Warrington Bank Quay Station and accessible from motorways. They are now recruiting for a Legal Secretary / PA to join them on a full Time or 4 day working week basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and manage correspondence, legal documents and court papers
  • Audio and copy typing of legal documentation to a high standard
  • Proactive client liaison, including taking messages, passing on information or dealing with queries
  • Maintain filing system
  • Preparation of indexes and bundles, including ebundles
  • Carry out other administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning and collating of documents

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within the Personal Injury field is desirable but full training will be provided as long as you have transferable skills
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications (ideally Proclaim but again this is desirable)
  • Excellent standards of spelling
  • Punctuation and grammar
  • Typing
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism, with a polite and helpful manner
  • Ability to be proactive and use initiative
