This is a great time to join this well-established, successful and highly professional transport organisation offering a range of bespoke services. This role is the direct result of their ongoing growth and will be pivotal to the success of the operation, ensuring collections and deliveries are made on time. Ideally you will have SME experience.Applicants need to have a driving licence and their own vehicle as there is no public transport available near the site and this is a full-time office-based job.Key Responsibilities:* Ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day transport and warehouse operations* Ensuring the provision of a first-class service in the most cost-effective manner* Efficient management of vehicle scheduling and the maximisation of vehicle utilisationKey Skills / Experience:* Great attention to detail and fantastic problem-solving skills with the ability to prevent/resolve issues that could result in the disruption of service level agreements* Strong communication skills across numerous channels* Work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment* Track record in a similar role within a customer centric transport operation* Ensuring site compliance with all relevant employment / transport legislation* Proven leadership abilities with the presence and charisma to lead a growing team* An understanding of CI techniques, KPI management, Employment Law and H&S legislationThis role would offer you a competitive salary and benefits along with opportunity to join a growing organisation that prides itself on their reputation.
