Road Freight Business Development Manager

Location: Warrington, UKSalary: Circa £50,000 base + bonus + company car

Reed are currently working in partnership with a dynamic and growing freight forwarding business specialising in European Road Freight. Our client's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has positioned us as a leader in the industry. We are now looking for a talented and driven Freight Business Development Manager to join our client's team and help us expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the European Road Freight sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development within the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with a focus on European Road Freight.
  • Strong understanding of the European Road Freight market and its dynamics.

  • Valid UK driving license.
