gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to work at their facility based near Warrington

Performance Objectives

  • We are looking for an electrically bias Maintenance Engineer to join our current Engineering Team. The position will be based in the production hall, currently working a 3 shift pattern (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00/22:00-06:00) Sunday to Friday.
  • Responsible for breakdown situations, planned preventative maintenance and planned shutdowns
  • Continuous improvement, working within the team to strive to continuously deliver performance improvements
  • Key relationships will be the Engineering Manager, Production Team Leaders and the Engineering Team
  • The role will be part of a three man team, covering the whole production Hall, Process Plant and Services

Person Specification

  • Apprentice trained
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience within a packaging environment preferred, but not essential
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical, automation and PLC software, ideally Siemens S7
  • Experience of working in a challenging quality and customer focused environment
  • Experience of high pressure situations where decision making may be required with little supervision
