What You'll Be Doing:
- Keeping production running - reactive & preventative maintenance on high-speed machinery
- Diagnosing & fixing faults - electrical & mechanical breakdowns
- Improving reliability - working on projects to enhance efficiency
- PLC fault-finding - identifying & resolving automation issues (no programming required)
- Ensuring safety & compliance - keeping standards high and downtime low
What You Need:
- Apprentice-trained or time-served engineer (electrical or mechanical bias)
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing (packaging/FMCG ideal)
- Strong fault-finding & troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of PLC systems (fault-finding only)
- A hands-on, problem-solving mindset
