Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a MEICA Site Supervisor for a Tier 1 civils contractor in the Northwest.

The position is site-based Mon - Fri (45 hour working week).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise MEICA (mechanical, electrical, instrument, control, and automation) installations on-site.
  • Ensure site safety, maintain SHE standards, and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Manage project quality to meet standards and specifications.
  • Oversee documentation, including ITPs, safety records, and compliance with mechanical/electrical safety rules.
  • Contribute to isolation planning, safety inspections, and testing (e.g., cable, pressure, software).
  • Provide training (toolbox talks, inductions) and monitor subcontractor competency.
  • Assist with project handover documentation.

Requirements:

  • HNC or higher in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in water/wastewater sites or process industries (preferred).
  • Knowledge ofMEICA standards, hazardous environments, and safety certifications (DSEAR, COMPEX).
  • SSSTS/SMSTS certification.
