Mission:Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge? We’re seeking a driven and innovative Engineering Specialist to support our manufacturing and project teams in launching cutting-edge products! This role is at the heart of engineering change and productivity improvements, ensuring smooth operations from product conception to successful production. If you’re passionate about making a real impact and have a flair for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

As part of this dynamic engineering team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of manufacturing with the following responsibilities:

  • Innovate & Lead: Define plant-specific equipment and lead its realization from concept to production.
  • Optimise Processes: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline production, ensuring top-tier quality and efficiency.
  • Support Across Functions: Provide vital administrative support in SAP, product files, lab reports, and quality testing.
  • Drive Change: Lead engineering change management and implement productivity improvements across the plant.
  • Champion Quality: Perform technical feasibility studies, PFMEAs, and safety assessments to maintain the highest standards.
  • Collaborate & Execute: Coordinate pre-production and production runs for new products with the production team, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Empower Teams: Provide training and support to production teams to help them achieve their best.
  • Maximize Efficiency: Identify and act on cost-reduction opportunities throughout the product lifecycle from launch to serial production.

Required Skills & Experience:.

  • Strong understanding of plastics manufacturing processes (injection, paint, assembly).
  • Proven experience in a similar manufacturing role (essential).
  • Familiarity with ISO50001 energy management standards is a plus.
  • Previous experience in engineering change management, including technical studies and risk assessments.
  • Ideally from the automotive industry or fast paced manufacturing
