Location: WA53LP (Hybrid)Salary: £14.31We are seeking a Business Administrator (Engineering) to provide comprehensive and commercial administrative support to our teams, projects, and work groups within CEC. This role is initially available until Monday, 31/03/2025, with a review for extension.Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing documents using various Microsoft packages for team members (reports, typing up minutes/outputs from workshops, producing presentations, etc.)
  • Creating Engineering Certificates, Service Entry sheets for payment and release of retention payments via SAP Core
  • Raising shopping carts for equipment/goods/services and processing goods receipts via SAP
  • Purchasing equipment/goods/service via other methods (supplier portals, purchase card, etc.)
  • Arranging and supporting meetings/conferences (both internal/external) on behalf of others including room bookings, managing delegates, producing material, etc.
  • Maintaining electronic filing system and internal records
  • Supporting the project team with other administrative duties
  • Liaising with other internal departments when necessary
  • Taking basic care of office equipment and ensuring supplies are readily available

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Proven administrative background
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint
  • Customer-focused and service-driven
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
