A medium sized, award-winning housing developer is expanding their team due to new exciting developments starting up. They are looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager in the North West to oversee a timber frame new build housing site with the support of a Site Manager.
Job Duties:- Assist the Site Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the construction site
- Ensure that the project is completed within budget and on schedule
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations on site
- Monitor and report on progress to the Site Manager
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- First Aid certification
- Valid Driving Licence
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Assistant Site Manager role.
Knowledge and Skills:- Strong understanding of timber frame construction
- Experience in new build housing projects
- Excellent site management skills
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations
This role involves working on a construction site in varying weather conditions. Travel within the North West region may be required. The candidate must be willing to work full-time hours and be flexible with their schedule to meet project deadlines.
