Our client, a local manufacturing company and supplier of soft play and family entertainment centres, are looking to recruit a Workshop Assembler to join their busy finishing team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development, quality and functionality of electronic/electrical products as well as cutting and assembling of various wooden structures.
As a Workshop Assembler your duties will be: -
" Work with electrical components in the wiring and soldering of complete assemblies.
" Operate power tools for specific assembly tasks.
" Assisting with the crafting of soft play centres.
" Use of hand tools and jigsaw.
" Operating woodworking machines.
" Cut and assemble wooden components for structure.
" Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials and finished products.
The successful Workshop Assembler will have the following skills: -
" Previous experience in timber product manufacturing.
" Ability to operate power tools.
" Electrical aptitude for accurate component assembly.
" Some experience in electronics would be required.
" Good attention to detail.
" Work well as part of team.
