Description

We are working exclusively with an Aerospace Manufacturer who are looking for an ambitious Materials Controller to join the team, based in Warrington.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee inventory of aviation materials and parts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • To work in accordance with businesses methods and procedures
  • Complying with standard processes, specific area requirements and health and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials necessary for maintenance and operations.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and monitor stock levels.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to forecast material requirements based on operational needs.
  • Provide support to other departments when required.

Job Benefits

  • Previous experience in materials control within the aviation industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience within defence, space, aerospace or automotive.
  • Understanding of aviation regulations and inventory management principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems.
  • Comfortable working to tight time frames with demanding quality requirements.
  • Candidates must demonstrate previous experience of using their own initiative.
  • High attention to detail, extremely organised and great communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a Manual Handling Role

Salary

  • £24,000 - £25,500
  • Day's role - Monday to Friday
