As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in the Engineering & Manufacturing department of an industry-leading Industrial / Manufacturing firm. You will be primarily tasked with designing, developing and maintaining Mechanical control systems and components to required specifications

Description

As Mechanical Design Engineer you will be tasked with the following;

  • Design and develop systems and components for highly regulated manufacturing applications.
  • Perform detailed analysis of mechanical designs to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design improvements and solve complex engineering problems.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Participate in project planning and provide engineering support during project execution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design failures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Profile

A successful 'Mechanical Design Engineer' should have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
