Exciting Opportunity to Join as a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer for Nuclear and Defence Industries!A leading Nuclear Engineering Company are seeking an experienced and innovative Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their established Engineering Design Team on a Staff at their Warrington Offices.

The Principal Mechanical Design Engineer position is permanent and offers ample opportunities for growth within the company.

Our focus is on delivering bespoke high-quality projects for the Nuclear Energy & Defence Industries and we are looking for someone with a passion for cutting-edge technology development.

Qualifications Requried for Principal Mechanical Design Engineer Role The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in mechanical engineering. Chartered status with relevant professional bodies (e.g., IMechE) would be beneficial Skills:Mechanical design expertise:In this role, you will be responsible for designing, fromn concept, Mechanical Handling, Process Systems & Machinery systems for Nuclear & Defence Applications, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

You should have extensive knowledge of creating designs that meet specific criteria and understand how these machines work together.

Experience of Feasability / Front End Engineering Design / FEED would be of great advantage for this particular role. Leadership skills:As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will manage other engineers working on similar projects. Therefore, excellent leadership experience is required.Communication skills:Excellent written and oral communication abilities are essential since this job involves collaborating closely with clients from different sectors like defence industries where clear instructions need to be conveyed accurately.Salary & Benefits:The salary offered for this position is circa £70000 per annum, reflecting not only your qualifications but also years of experiences gained over time.
