Join our Team as a Principal Mechanical Design EngineerWe are seeking an experienced and talented individual to join our team in Warrington as a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer. Our client is operating within the engineering & manufacturing sector, specifically working with regulated industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading engineers through project delivery of mechanical design solutions.Qualifications Required for Principal Mechanical Design Engineer Role
- - A degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering.
- - Chartered status (CEng) would be advantageous but not essential.
Skills:Mechanical EngineeringThe ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of various principles, theories, concepts and techniques related to mechanics including thermodynamics, hydraulics/pneumatics systems design/analysis etc., which can help them tackle complex challenges that arise during their day-to-day work activities effectively.Mechanical DesignA thorough understanding of designing mechanisms such as gears or other moving parts that enable equipment/machinery/systems to carry out specific tasks efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met at all times throughout the entire life cycle from concept development stages up until final production/release phases is critical for this role.
Experience of Feasibility / Front End Engineering Design / FEED would be of great advantage for this particular role.Machinery DesignIn-depth expertise concerning machinery/equipment selection processes based on requirements specifications analysis considering factors like cost-effectiveness balanced against performance needs involving considerations such as material choice(s), size constraints/time frames involved + more if necessary - key skills required here include problem solving abilities combined with excellent analytical thinking capabilities when assessing different options available regarding these issues mentioned above Mechanical Handling SystemsHaving experience developing/improving handling system designs unique situations where even small modifications may impact overall efficiencies significantly could prove vital towards succeeding given how important it's becoming across many sectors today due increasing emphasis placed upon reducing costs via automation whilst maintaining high levels quality assurance/control measures simultaneously too!Leading Engineers:As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will manage other engineers working on similar projects. Therefore, excellent leadership experience is required.Communication Skills:Excellent written and oral communication abilities are essential since this job involves collaborating closely with clients from different sectors like defence industries where clear instructions need to be conveyed accurately.Salary & Benefits:The salary offered for this position is up to £75,000 per annum, reflecting not only your qualifications but also years of experiences gained over time.
