Our client, a local manufacturing company and supplier of soft play and family entertainment centres, are looking to recruit a Field Installation Technician to join their team.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, design, and execution of soft play installation projects. You will work closely with the design, production, and installation teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.


As a Project Engineer your duties will be: -

Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial client requirements through to final installation.

Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and designer to develop custom play area solutions.

Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Coordinate with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure project timelines are met.

Conduct site visits and surveys to assess feasibility and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Identify and mitigate potential project risks and challenges.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines.

Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide cost-effective solutions.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality in project execution.


The successful Project Engineer will have the following skills: -

A relevant degree qualification, Engineering qualification would be preferable.

Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong problem solving, organisational, and time management skills.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Willingness to travel to project sites as required, both in the UK and Internationally.

Able to travel 2- 3 days per week.

Training will be provided.
