Pressure Systems Surveyor

The Role:
Due to expansion in our our sister company TUV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS), a brand new role has opened for a Pressure Systems Surveyorto work with the Head of NoBo.

The Pressure System Surveyor will involve conduct on-site inspections, compliance assessments, and preparing cost estimates and commercial quotations. You will a comprehensive understanding of relevant industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements, such as the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR) and is familiar with CE and UKCA Marking of pressure vessels.
You will:
  • Conduct on-site inspections and surveys of pressure ensuring compliance with PED and PSSR.
  • Experience of conformity assessments to CE and UKCA marking.
  • Conduct Product and Process Audits as well as Technical Documentation reviews
  • Carry out surveillance audits to maintain product certification.
You will have:
  • An HNC, HND, BEng, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in pressure equipment or plant inspection, with a focus on PED/PSSR compliance as well as experience of working within a Notified Body environment.
  • Relevant accreditation or certification to inspect pressure systems (e.g., ASME, API 510, EEMUA 231) and experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
