The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planned preventative maintenance, gas fault diagnosis, and general breakdown repair, and will represent our company with professionalism and expertise. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct planned preventative maintenance on gas forges, hearths, and safety devices in the Design Technology and Science departments. • Diagnose and repair gas faults and breakdowns in accordance with company policies and industry standards. • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines. • Maintain a high standard of presentation, including wearing designated clothing/uniform at all times. • Build and maintain positive relationships with onsite clients and staff. • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Manage and organize workload efficiently, including working away from home and extended hours if required. • Provide excellent communication, both written and oral, to clients and team members. Qualifications & Experience: • Valid commercial gas safe qualifications including COCNPILS, ICPNILS, TPCPI, and TPCPIA. • Proven experience in gas maintenance and repair, preferably within educational settings. • Ability to work away from home (Monday to Thursday) and manage extended hours when necessary. • Current driving license and willingness to travel throughout the UK. • Clear DBS check. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
