About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pressure Vessel Inspection Engineer to join our team in Manchester. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing expert recommendations to maintain the integrity and safety of pressure vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections of pressure vessels, boilers, and related equipment in accordance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Assess the condition of equipment and provide detailed inspection reports.
  • Identify and report on any defects, recommending necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Liaise with clients to offer technical guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes such as API, ASME, and UK regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) methods where required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality inspection services.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in pressure vessel inspections, ideally within the oil & gas, energy, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Certifications: API 510, API 570, or other industry-recognized certifications are highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of industry standards (ASME, API, PED, PSSR), excellent attention to detail, and report-writing skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required for inspections across the UK.
  • Driving License: A full UK driving license is essential.
