About the RoleYou'll manage key accounts with annual sales of up to £10 million, collaborating with Strategic Clients and teams including LV & SI Resource/Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Bid Managers to drive success and influence exciting future projects.What's in it for you?• 5% pension contribution • Private health care scheme• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays• Additional annual leave for long service • Learning & development opportunities • Employee Assistance Programme • Hybrid working model What you'll do• Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts to understand their needs and goals.• Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring timely communication and addressing concerns.• Develop and implement tailored account strategies for each key account.• Identify growth opportunities within accounts by understanding their business objectives.• Monitor account performance and set measurable sales and growth targets.• Upsell and cross-sell relevant products or services to ensure revenue growth.• Negotiate contracts and renewals for mutual benefit and alignment with business goals.• Coordinate efforts of cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.• Provide sales forecasts for key accounts and update the CRM with potential opportunities.• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.• Monitor and report on account performance, including sales and revenue contribution.• Oversee contract compliance and assist in forecasting revenue, ensuring effective budget allocation.Who you'll do it forOur client is one of the UK's leading multidisciplinary design and build contractors. With an impressive legacy of over 100 years, they work with blue-chip clients across various sectors including Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, and Food and Beverage.What you'll need• HNC or Degree in an electrical discipline or relevant experience, along with a willingness to participate in training and performance reviews.• Proficient in IT skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project• Strong commercial awareness.• Knowledge of electrical installations and control systems (e.g., control panels, PLC, SCADA) is preferred.What next?CV not up to date?
