About the Role

 

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to support the Mechanical & Electrical installation works within the turbine hall of the HPC Nuclear New Build Mega Project. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring efficient progress tracking, and driving project success.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and maintain project schedules covering design, engineering, construction, and commissioning
  • Manage and maintain progress databases to track project performance
  • Provide progress reporting, including weekly and monthly reports
  • Conduct milestone projections, delay analysis, and float path analysis
  • Track and document delays, disruptions, and earned value management
  • Monitor schedule performance and productivity metrics
  • Perform site progress verification, incorporating quality assessments
  • Attend schedule meetings, liaising with clients and subcontractors
  • Prepare tender schedules and histograms
  • Lead planning meetings and weekly work planning sessions
  • Resource and cash-load schedules
  • Support contract reviews and provide data for payment applications

 

 

What We're Looking For

 

  • 5+ years' experience in construction project planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing workload effectively
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to chair meetings and collaborate with internal/external teams
  • Degree in a construction-related field (preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
