Mobile Plant Fitter Road Machinery

Location: North West (Preston, Manchester, Liverpool) | Full-Time | 38.5 hours per week

Our client, a leading distributor and after-sales specialist in construction machinery, is looking for a skilled engineer to join their Road Machinery team based in Warrington, covering the North West region.

What Youll Be Doing:


  • Service, repair, and overhaul heavy mobile plant equipment, specifically pavers and rollers.
  • Use diagnostic tools to pinpoint and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Install the latest software updates to keep equipment running at optimal performance.
  • Order parts as needed to keep everything running smoothly, minimizing downtime.


What Were Looking For:


  • Level 3 qualification in HGV, Plant, Agricultural, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous experience in construction or heavy plant machinery maintenance and repair.
  • Experience with road machinery (pavers and rollers) is a plus, but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required and handle occasional call-outs.
  • Possess your own tools for the role.
  • Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
