Are you an experienced Account Manager with a passion for the packaging industry? We are seeking a dynamic professional to manage and expand a customer base for a leading Foam Packaging Manufacturer with a turnover of £83 million, backed by a world-renowned partner.

Regional Account Manager – Foam Packaging Manufacturer

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000Benefits: Car allowance (up to £6,000), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, healthcare, life insurance (2x salary), 4% matched pension, credit card, laptop, opportunities for career growth, salary increases of 5-10% year-on-year.Location: Northwest England (including areas up to Wolverhampton).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of 50 existing clients, including key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities within your designated region (Northwest, including Wolverhampton, and occasional travel to Northern Ireland).
  • Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across your territory.
  • Retain and grow accounts based on strong rapport and relationship-building.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

About You:

  • Has proven experience in account management or sales, ideally within the packaging or related sectors.
  • Possesses strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Is self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Can manage a portfolio of clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Is comfortable with regional travel and occasionally visiting Northern Ireland.
