Our team is expanding, and we are looking for experienced Section 12 Doctors (specialty doctors, consultants) to join us in conducting Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments under the Mental Health Act.
  • Perform eligibility and mental capacity assessments for individuals under DoLS.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, service users, and their families.
  • Ensure all assessments are thorough, person-centred, and compliant with legal frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Current GMC registration.
  • Section 12 approval under the Mental Health Act.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mental health assessments.
