Our client is seeking people to join their team based in Appleton, Warrington. Our client is a leader in their fields, and they are looking for casual and temporary staff to work as we head toward their busiest time of the year. The role will be sorting parcels, by postcode sector prior to delivery, ideally you will have experience in this role, however, full training will be given.

You will load and unload vehicles and trailers, scanning the items and sorting them by sector prior to dispatch. The pay rates are regularly reviewed to ensure they are competitive, and as such you will be kept informed throughout. The role is temporary, however, you can choose your days of work, for example if you are someone just seeking a couple of shifts per week or looking for more. There are two shifts typically available, afternoon shifts- which operate anywhere between 1pm-9pm or 2pm-10pm, and the night shifts are typically 12am-8.30am, or any time between 11pm-9am. Due to the night working regulations, you must be over 18 for the night shift roles, and undertake a night working health survey. Full training will be given, and you will be given a site familiarisation tour prior to starting work. Due to the location of the role, there is no reliable public transport, so please ensure you have access to transport. As the role is working within the parcel services network, all roles will require up to 5 years screening activity, including work/ education history plus Security and or/ DBS Checks.
