We are looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to handle all payroll related tasks efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a timely manner. This role is key in the accounting and finance department, supporting the team in the property industry.

Description

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate competition of weekly and monthly payroll for up to 200 employees.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll data.
  • Resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare payroll reports for management.
  • Coordinate with HR for any changes in payroll.
  • Adhere to payroll policies and procedures.
  • Update payroll records by entering any changes to employee pay, job title and department/division transfers.
  • Address employee's pay-related concerns and provide accurate payroll information.
  • Support with year-end and interim audits.

Profile

A successful Payroll clerk should have:

  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with high volumes of work at peak periods
  • Positive, problem solving and can-do attitude.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role.
  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Working knowledge of payroll software.
  • Sage 50 experience would be beneficial.
