Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our team and provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for Year 2 students in a Warrington Primary School. As a Classroom Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on young minds and contribute to their holistic development.

This role will be 8.30am - 3.30pm, 5 days per week starting in September until October half term with a potential for this to be extended.

Rate - £110+ dependent on experience

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the curriculum for Year 2 students
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and respected
  • Foster a love for learning through creative and interactive teaching methods
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and support staff to address the individual needs of students
  • Monitor and assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to promote educational growth
  • Uphold a safe and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes equality
Qualifications
  • QTS
  • Experience teaching KS1
  • Strong understanding of child development and effective instructional strategies
  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in education
Day-to-Day
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Year 2 curriculum
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure the overall well-being of students
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
  • Continuously assess student learning and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs
