Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our team. As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for Year 4 students within a local Warrington Primary School, fostering their academic and personal development.

This role would be 8.30am - 3.30pm, 5 days per week from September for a full academic year

Rate - £110+ dependent on experience

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the diverse learning needs of Year 4 students
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Foster a love for learning and encourage curiosity and critical thinking in students
  • Uphold a safe and nurturing classroom environment where diversity and inclusion are celebrated
Qualifications
  • QTS
  • Proven experience working with KS2 students
  • Strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum and age-appropriate teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
Day-to-Day
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 4 students
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and resources
  • Communicating regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
