Randstad is recruiting a teacher to cover a maternity leave position located in Warrington. The school is looking for some who can commit to the position for at least 9 months but will also be flexible enough to remain should there be a need. This role will involve ensuring Y5 pupils have the most successful academic year as they head into Y6.

The school is very popular, has an excellent reputation and promotes a family friendly environment at all times.

Requirements:

  • You must have current experience working in Key Stage 2 ideally, upper KS2
  • Be confident in planning your own lessons around the curriculum
  • Provide engaging and stimulating lessons.
  • Ensure you stretch pupils where possible and nurture those who need additional support.

To register for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a qualified teacher (The school will consider ECT)
  • Hold, or be willing to carry out, an enhanced DBS
  • Be able to provide professional references to cover you for at least 12 months within the last 2 years
  • Have a flexible, can-do approach
  • All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have legal right to work in the UK
